Fairlife Milk

*Edit: As much as everything I wrote below still stands, we have stopped using Fairlife after hearing about their awful treatment of their cows. I still haven’t been able to make myself watch the videos. We have switched to oat milk for ourselves (we have an Almond Cow to make it ourselves at home but also really like the Oatly brand). And then we use the lactose free milk at Target for when the kids want “real” milk.

This milk is basically ultra-filtered with 50% more protein, 30% more calcium and half the sugars typically found in milk, and it’s lactose free. For some reason, lactose seems to spike mine and Aiyla's blood sugars. Ever since switching to Fairlife, our blood sugars are stable after drinking milk. We use it for all of us, and I've even gotten the rest of my family to switch because who wouldn't want to cut down on sugar and increase their protein? It is a little more expensive than regular milk though. It's been great to use for low blood sugars without a big spike too. Oh, and the chocolate variety is SO good.
